Library Activities are hosted across local library branches in Acadia-St. Landry throughout the year! Check our events page for lists of scheduled dates for story hour, craft activities, movie matinees, and more.
Local Museums
Visit one of the many museums we have in Acadia-St. Landry and learn about local culture and valuable information about our history. Most are free to visit, though donations are always welcome. Contact the museum ahead of time to ensure open hours or if an appointment to take a tour is required.

La Table Française
Whether you’re a French speaker who wants to converse in your language, interested in learning and practicing or enriching your family culture, the French table is an event where anyone is invited to come out and practice Louisiana Cajun French. Here are current locations and dates that participate:
- The Eunice Depot Museum - Wednesdays at 9:30am
- Le Vieux Village in Opelousas - held the last Wednesday of the month at 8:30
- Le Vieux Presbytère in Church Point - held monthly. Dates to be determined
- Nunu Arts & Culture Collective - Second Saturday from noon to 2pm.
