About The Publisher: Courtney

Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Courtney and I am happily married with 3 kids.  They share many different interests including music, academics, STEM activities, and outdoor activities. We were always looking for things to do that were closer to home. I discovered our smaller communities had much to offer families and saw a need to bring more awareness of the vast opportunities and resources available.

Serving the Acadia-St. Landry area is the heart of my home. I grew up and lived in Acadia Parish for 18 years and now reside in St. Landry Parish where I've lived for over 13 years, so I know the communities well. It just made sense to become a part of something greater. 

Macaroni Kid Acadia-St. Landry is an online publication and free weekly newsletter focused on family friendly events happening around the local communities within these two parishes. We bring information to you on all kinds of local family events and activities each week.
