Farmer's & Artisan's Markets for Acadia and St. Landry Parish

Shop local and support our farmers, artisans, and craftspeople!

By Courtney Jennings, Publisher Acadia-St. Landry November 11, 2021

We love supporting our local farmers and buying locally-grown produce and handmade goods. Plus, it's fun for the whole family to visit and see unique one-of-a-kind items in Acadia and St. Landry. Many of these Acadia-St. Landry markets also have live music and food vendors for a great day of family fun.

Here are a few things to note before heading out to Acadia-St. Landry Farmer's Markets:

  • Bring your own containers or bags!
  • Bring cash as some Acadia-St. Landry farmers and artisans market stands may not take credit cards.
  • Some farmer and artisans markets in Acadia-St. Landry might have rules or requests in place. Please check their websites or social media sites before heading out!
  • These markets are typically held outdoors and may be affected by inclement weather. Always check the sites or social media pages for updates on possible cancelations prior to heading to a market, especially if it's not in your own hometown, to avoid any inconvenience.
