Head out to Cankton located just south of Sunset for the 4th Annual Crew of Cankton Courir De Mardi Gras! Get ready for a day of lively festivities, mouthwatering gumbo, and a Chicken Run-Trail Ride that promises adventure and excitement.
Mardi Gras is coming alive on February 10th at the Landon Pitre Memorial Park in Cankton.
Embark on an unforgettable Chicken Run-Trail Ride, departing from the park at 9:00 AM SHARP! Get your costumes ready, as both top and bottom attire are required.
Gumbo Cook-off, Chicken Run and Trail Ride, and Live Entertainment!
Get ready to dance the day away because we will have live music starting at 2:30 PM until 5:30 PM with a live DJ starting at 9:00 AM

Entry is $5 at the gate – a small price for a day full of memories and camaraderie and all proceeds benefit Louisiana Special Olympics.
Gumbo Cookoff-he entry fee is $60 per team, and the cooking starts at 9:00 AM. Make sure your creations are ready for judging at 1:30 PM.
Chicken Run-Trail Ride- Departs at 9am sharp from the park. The cost is $20 per person to participate. Get your costumes ready, as both top and bottom attire are required.
