Well MacaroniKID families, we have had a bit of a wet start to our Spring but that just means things are about to get brighter! We are certainly ready for it with fun outdoor events to come.
Although the rain has put a little bit of a damper to start off the season, we were excited to be able to still make the Hope for Opelousas Art Show which was moved to the Delta Grand Theatre in Downtown Opelousas. It was amazing to see the many incredible pieces of art created by the kids of the Hope for Opelousas Program. Works of art beautifully created using different types of mediums were showcased for guests to bid on. The Art Show serves as a major fundraiser for the kids of the program to be able to attend camp and trips over the summer.

It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of March already and Easter is almost here. And speaking of Easter, have you checked out our Spring Time Family Fun Guide!? Macaroni KID Acadia-St. Landry will have a table set up for the Community Easter Egg Hunt happening this Saturday, March 23 in Port Barre. If you are nearby this weekend bring the kiddos with their Easter Baskets for a fun-filled day in the park.
