As an active member of my community and publisher of Macaroni KID Acadia-St. Landry I often attend many of the local events and functions we have here around Acadia and St. Landry parish. I wear many hats from mother, instructional paraprofessional, editor and publisher of 2 online media platforms, but when asked what it is I do I usually tell people I'm a Macaroni KID publisher and the follow up question I get immediately after is 'What is that?'
Here's a breakdown of what it is, what we do, and how to navigate the website to find the info you're looking for.

Macaroni KID in the Community
As an active member in my community you may see me out and about with my family at events. We also participate in community projects to give back to our community. In my two years as publisher I have successfully given back to a local school who was nominated in our Cool Schools campaign, recognized local kids in the community for making a positive impact, delivered Halloween Buckets to local families, distributed Easter Baskets, collected and donated toys for kids in foster care, delivered and distributed school and classroom supplies to various organizations just to name a few.
We are proud supporters of many local non-profit organizations where we can give back such as CASA of St. Landry-Evangeline.
We also run giveaways throughout the year to give our readers fun opportunities to win prizes!
We collaborate with local businesses through partnerships and sponsorships as well as national advertisers to be able to provide these services and continued support for our local businesses.
