Library Activities **Contact the location to sign up ahead of time and confirm your spot.
Fall programs have started back at several local libraries! Check the calendar for upcoming kids' events.
- Story Hour with a craft at the Eunice Public Library every Wednesday @10am (call to confirm first!)
- Children's Story hour at the Armand J. Brinkhaus Library every Wednesday with a craft to follow.
- Teen Anime Afternoons at the Acadia Parish Library

Family Fun Day Activities
The pumpkins have arrived at the Epiphany Church in Opelousas! The pumpkin patch will be open weekdays starting Monday, October 17 from 2-7pm, Saturdays from 9am -5pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm. through October 31.
Community Collection Day at the Opelousas Museum & Interpretive Center.
$6 Tuesdays at St. Landry Cinema and Queen Cinema 3 LLC. Check out the new movie Lyle, Lyle Crocodile at the cinema!
Celebrate National Chocolate Cupcake Day on Tuesday, October 18! We don't need a special day to eat cupcakes but it's a great excuse to whip up a fun treat with the kids in the kitchen.

More Things to Do
Visit one of our local area museums! Many are open to the public during the week for tours. Just call ahead to confirm open times and schedule a tour.
Go to the park! Get the kids out of the house and play while enjoying the crisp, cooler air! Try visiting a different park to change things up and go on a fun fall scavenger hunt.
Dulcimer Jam takes place every Wednesday at the St. Landry Parish Visitor Center. If you're not familiar with this instrument this is a great opportunity to take the kids to see and hear from local musicians.
