As a beloved fan of Renaissance fairs I have to say I was all too excited to learn of this event right here in our Acadia-St. Landry community! We had a blast last year and this year promises to be no less with even more vendors and entertainment.

The Acadiana Renaissance Féte was created by a group of friends who shared a passion for creativity, human interaction, and being in the open air. We are so excited to announce its return for the 2nd year in the Village of Glane, a small area of land between Opelousas and Lawtell, for 2023!! The Renaissance Féte will take place over 5 weekends this year.
Opening weekend is January 14-15! Each weekend will have a different theme for a fun-filled weekend of adventure. Themed costumes and dress up is encouraged! (Please dress appropriately)
Make plans to come and see the many various vendors, dancing and entertainment, and visit the Acadiana Wildlife’s Education Ambassadors tent!

Pirates - Barbarians - Vikings
Get raided by Pirates, invaded by Barbarians, and pillaged by Vikings
Weekend 2
January 21-22
Lunar New Year - Enchanted Feywild
Celebrate the Lunar New Year and frolic with the fairies of the Enchanted Feywild.
Gluten-Free High Tea
Royal Tea Tasting Event
Saturday, 2-4pm

Celtic Highland
Celebrate Irish and Scottish culture.

Time Traveller Weekend
Join the fun during this COSPLAY weekend as we travel back in time.

February 11-12
Mardi Gras Time Traveller
Travel BACK for the last TIME and celebrate Mardi Gras. Catch commemorative throws and even join in our second line! Mardi Gras costumes are highly encouraged this weekend!
Tickets are $10 per person, children 12 and under get in free! To save time, purchase tickets in advance at LaRenFete.com for the selected weekend you plan to attend. For a premium experience consider purchasing a VIP Pass for access to all 5 weekends!
